Dedicated
access is a type of access where Internet connection is always
on. In fact the port on ISP end is dedicated to servicing
only one customer. It is never reset and it never goes down.
RNS offers a block of IP addresses suitable for your network.
Additionally,
dedicated connections are usually subject to higher service
level agreements. Powered by an impressive 100Mbps connnection
from GTE Internetworking and 44Mbps DS-3 connection into SAVVIS,
DLS surely guarantees you to deliver on the promise of bandwidth.
RNS systems constantly monitors this connection using IP and
SNMP based tools. Our Network Operations Center (NOC) staff
will attempt to notify the customer upon loss of connectivity.
These measures include contacting customer and troubleshooting
a problem with the phone company in the event connection fails.
There
are various methods of dedicated connectivity varying from
high speed T1 and newest DSL circuits now available in many
places throughout United States to slower more conventional
analog or ISDN links.
