Dial-Up
Access
This
is the most basic type of account, which offers dial-up connection
via PPP or SLIP. This connection provides you with access
to browsing the World Wide Web (HTTP), Telnet, download and
upload of files via FTP, Gopher and a Private OpenVMS or Linux
shell account with a personal Internet mailbox. You will also
be able to read and post Usenet (Internet News) articles,
participate in IRC chat and many other services available
on the Internet. A discount is available to all full time
students with a valid school ID. All dial-up accounts include
a free homepages which may be used for personal or commercial
purposes. On site software installation is available at a
flat rate of $50.00. To minimize phone company charges to
our customers - RNS offers many local dial-up access locations
throughout United States and Canada as well as global roaming
all around the world.

RNS
Dial-Up accounts are not intended to be used in "nailed
up" fashion - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When a dial-up
connection has been idle for 2 hours, RNS will terminate such
connection. RNS does not permit the use of software which
forcefully keeps the connection open. If you require a permanent
